Have You Heard Of This Anti-aging Exercise The Hindu Push-up

It will be safe to say for ages, Man has been looking for ways to stay, look and feel young. Even religious monks for millennia have made that an especial assignment of theirs.

You see two thousand years ago, Tibetan monks claimed that the aging process could be reversed. They developed the Rites, by condensing 21 yoga anti-aging exercises into 5

The fifth rite is an especial benefit of mine.

It’s the Hindu-Push Up:

When you perform the fifth rite, your body will be face-down to the floor. It will be supported by the hands, palms down against the floor, and the toes in a flexed position. Throughout this rite, the hands and feet should be kept straight. Start with your arms perpendicular to the floor, and the spine arched, so that the body is in a sagging position.

Here is the technique and like me, after reading this next paragraph, take a pause and try 2-3 out right quick.

-Get on all fours.

-The starting position is with legs spread wide and butt up in the air.

-From there, bend your elbows as in a regular pushup, bringing your back down in a circular arc

-Straighten your arms and end up with your chest up and your hips almost touching the ground.

Now for a superior anti-aging exercise and ‘pick-me-upper’, this simple routine definitely does stand out.

When done properly and combined with deep breathing (breathing in on the way down and exhaling-looking up) Hindu pushups build amazing lung power as well as incredible upper body strength and endurance. They also improve flexibility in the shoulders and hips as well as the upper and lower back.

You definitely have to try it out to see for yourself.

Perhaps the efficiency of this exercise lies in the facts that it not only keeps your back supple, but the first position oxygenates and replenishes the brain, while the second position opens up several energy channels in the body and upon the necessary exhalation, clears out the lungs in a most efficient way.

Well, the monks have given the Hindu-Push ups their vote for Anti-aging, Bruce Lee gave them his vote for strength, perhaps when you try them, theyll win one more advocate.

Heres to staying, looking and feeling younger AND to health.

Settlement In Lawsuit Claiming Doctors Missed Man’s Prostate Cancer For Years

Coordinating the patient care may actually make the difference between life and death. The inovolvement of more than one physicians in the treatment of a patient means that some doctors might have important information that needs to be relayed to the patient as well as the other physicians for appropriate follow up. Without it the patient could very well go on not receiving appropriate and essential treatment. Many people think that the doctor will contact them in case there are any adverse findings from tests ordered by the doctor.

Generally, when people do not receive a follow up communication from a doctor many view that as an indication that everthing is fine and that there is no need for them to follow up with the doctor. It becomes more problematic, however, if the one doctor who is on the right track ends up not communicating his or her suspicions and the other physicians are not catching the signs and not ordering the proper tests.

Consider the following reported lawsuit. Several physicians had a chance to detect the male patients prostate cancer before it spread The man first saw his primary care physician, a general practitioner, with complaints of urinary problems at 56 years old age. The family doctor thought that the patient’s problems were not a result of cancer. Thus, the family doctor did not order any diagnostic testing, like a biopsy and did not refer the patient to a urologist.

Ten months afterwards the individual consulted with a urologist who did a physical examination on the prostate gland and did a PSA blood test. The individual then learned that the urologist was not approved by his insurance and he went to a different urologist who was approved.

The PSA test ordered by the first urologist came back and that urologist advised a biopsy. Unfortunately, that recommendation apparently did not get related to the PCP or the urologist approved by the insurance company. The approved urologist did not order a PSA blood test. The approved urologist also did a physical examination of the prostate but found no abnormalities and concluded that the patient did not have cancer.

It was an additional 2 years before the patients prostate cancer was finally detected. By that point, the cancer had spread outside the prostate and had metastasized. Had the cancer been detected at the time the patient initially complained of urinary problems, when he saw the first urologist, or even when the second urologist failed to find any abnormalities with his prostate and failed to order a PSA test, it would have still been contained in the prostate and, with treatment, the patient could have had approximately 97% prospect of surviving the cancer. Since the cancer was already advanced , however, the patient was likely to die from the cancer in under five years. The law firm that handled this matter published that they were able to achieve a settlement during jury selection at trial for $2,500,000 on behalf of the patient.

As the case described above illustrates, having multiple doctors for the same issue may lead to multiple errors. The first mistake was not following the screening guidelines. This was a mistake committed by both the primary care physician and the second urologist. The other error was one in communication. This happened when there was a miscommunication of the findings, suspicions, and recommendations of the urologist who was not approved by the insurance company and the other doctors.

If the patient had been able to keep seeing the first urologist he would have known that cancer was a possibility and that a follow up biopsy was recommended. If the other physicians would have agreed with that recommendation or would have passed this information to the patient if they had received it is unknown but then the error would have been entirely theirs.

What Causes Pimples And The Acne No More Treatment

Acne can be a difficult time in a person’s life. The presence of acne is normally evident once you enter puberty better known as early adolescents. The scary thing about acne is that, some people suffer from mild acne while others may suffer from a more severe case. Since acne can affect the face, neck, back and even chest, it can be a really difficult time for the sufferer often leading to bullying and a change in social lifestyle.
Severity of acne can depend on several factors. I would like to go over some of the leading causes of acne in a person’s life. Once we determine the cause, we can start to address the treatments that are available.

Puberty or Hormonal Changes

This phase as puberty usually starts around the age of 13 to 25, however some people can start puberty either earlier or even later. Sometimes people even end this phase before the age of 25 or later. During this part in life, your body goes through many chemical changes mostly hormonal imbalance. The increase in male sex hormones called androgens cause the follicular glands to grow larger and make more sebum. The gland are responsible for producing sebum which is a combination of oil and skin cells. When these cells enter the surface of the skin, you begin to develop acne. The presence of increase production of sebum without the right treatment measures can lead to acne and depending on the sebum level, acne severity can be assessed.

With the extra production of sebum your follicles can become blocked and this is when the bacteria and oil start to block the natural cleansing of toxins from within the skin.

Your Diet

Many people are not aware that the food they consume can cause acne to form on the skin. Much of the food we eat can cause your hormone levels to increase causing increased production of sebum, the chemical responsible for acne breakouts.

Dairy like whole milk can cause acne because the cows used during milk processing may be pregnant and already have high levels of hormones. Consume this milk will cause an imbalance in your hormone levels by either boosting your hormone levels or increase your sugar levels which directly influences your hormone levels. Here’s a tip, if you suffer from acne, keep a close eye on the fat content of the dairy products that you are purchasing.

Refined Carbohydrates which consist of grains and refined sugars can be very bad for acne sufferers. These sugars can increase the sugar levels in the blood which leads to an hormonal imbalance. The problem with refined carbs is that the machinery used to process these carbs stripes away the nutrients and removes important vitamins and minerals. These nutrients are great for cleansing the blood and cleaning the skin. Since the nutrients are missing from the refined grains, they enter the blood stream very quickly causing a sudden spike in blood sugar levels causing a quick onset of acne breakouts.

Stress And Anxiety

Stress over the years can play a crucial role in your life. The negative effects of stress has been known to cause many of the deadly diseases. Heart attacks, cancer, hair loss and many more all come from lifestyle stress. Another common attribute of stress is acne breakouts. Stress can cause many internal changes within the human body starting with the obvious which is hormonal changes. During puberty, we are already experiencing higher than normal stress levels and the onset of stress just aggravates this condition. Stress is boosting your hormonal levels more leading to extra product of sebum furthermore leading to acne.

Secondly, stress interferes with your sleeping pattern. During sleep the human body is responsible for balancing hormone levels and your immune system is hard at work detoxing and cleansing your body. Since stress can decrease the function of your immune system by 40%, you are decreasing the chances of your system cleaning bacteria from your skin. Your acne may take longer to clear up or even may flare up due to hormonal increases.

Genetics

There is not much knowledge about how genetics play a role in severity of acne but research has shown that it does play a role. If you have a long family history of severe acne than you are most likely to suffer from acne yourself. It is thought that since androgen gland releases hormones called sebum and depending on the levels released this determines your acne severity. If your family has a history of severe acne, it can be related to increased levels of sebum in the blood. This can have a direct impact on your hormone levels and how much is released into your blood stream blocking your follicles.

To get a better understanding, it’s like male pattern baldness, if your family history has seen males in your family losing hair at an early age, you are most probably going to suffer the same fate.
