H. Couture Beauty sold custom designed packages for its lipstick and mascara at a staggering $14 million making it the most expensive makeup that has ever been sold.
The cases were made from 18-karat gold embellished with rare pink and blue diamonds. According to Allison Kugel, spokesperson for H. Couture Beauty, it was purchased for a young woman’s 25th birthday.
The high-priced makeup comes with luxury concierge service, 24/7 customer service and complimentary lip and lash refills for a year.
The company’s mascara generally retails for $589 and the lip color retails for $150.

Created as a collaboration between womens beauty magazine Allure, Essie Cosmetics, Platinum Guild International (PGI) and British platinum supplier Johnson Matthey, I Do is made with powdered platinum and debuted at JCK-Las Vegas in 2005. The first batch of this luxury nail polish was displayed in a special bottle created by PGI and designer Henry Dunay and made of pure platinum.
The platinum bottle of I Do is valued at $55,000. A normal bottle of the platinum polish can be purchased for a more affordable $250.

ReVive was founded by Dr. Gregory Bays Brown, the plastic surgeon who pioneered the use of EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor, a bioengineered molecule) in skin care products in 1989. The Intensite Volumizing Serum works under the skin using another such molecule called KGF (Keratinocyte Growth Factor). According to the product description, the expensive serum augments the subtle loss of facial volume and plumps trouble areas.
